Klaus Scharioth, the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the United States, speaks to pressing world issues. The ambassador made his historic visit and address in the Rotunda Dome Room at the invitation of U.Va. President John T. Casteen III and the recently founded U.Va. Center for German Studies. The Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and the Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs also helped to sponsor the ambassador's visit.
